This program is designed to prepare candidates for everyday English in line with the international standard of The European Parliament and CFR standards which are also recognized by the North American countries. Candidates whose native tongue is not English naturally have different levels of English knowledge which is not necessarily adequate for attending courses at the college, hence they need to be screened and filtered to attend different preparatory courses in English for a variety of purposes including taking the IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, DUOLINGO or any other test required for matriculation, immigration, or employment in the workplace all over the globe.
The following is the procedure the candidates will follow to be placed in language courses.
The courses are as follows:
CUTTING EDGE series is comprised of Starter level, Elementary, Pre- Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper- Intermediate and Advanced levels.
This course is CT 101 A – three units of the Starter book with its paraphernalia. (Units 1-2). A final exam at the end of each term is given and successful candidates are eligible to be promoted to the next level.
